Mark Anderson (Senex) After taking some time off to raise a family, Mark made his return as an actor and has been busy ever since. A transplant from Ohio, Mark works at WTTW-TV as an Editor and Director on such shows as Chicago Tonight, Check, Please!, and others. Favorite shows from the past include 1776, The Drowsy Chaperone, Sunday in the Park with George, Ragtime, A Year with Frog and Toad and the Diary of Anne Frank.

Andrew Buel (Hysterium) returns to the Skokie Theatre as Hysterium. He has performed in 7 productions with MadKap, most recently as Luther Billis in “South Pacific”. He is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University majoring in Theater Performance, minoring in Music, and has performed in shows in Skokie and the Chicago suburbs ever since. Andrew also worked at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as part of their Internship Program, as a street performer at Six Flags Great America, and as a facilitator at the Museum of Science and Industry. Andrew is glad to take part in “Forum” and would like to thank all those who have taught and supported him throughout his acting journey.
Aidan Espinosa (Protean) is filled with excitement to be in his first professional show! This fall Aidan will be attending Shenandoah University for a degree in musical theatre. He would like to thank his brother for almost everything he knows and couldn’t be more grateful to share the stage with him one last time before college!
Owen Espinosa (Protean) is a theatre artist from Elmhurst, Illinois! He is so excited to perform in his first ever Sondheim musical and to share the stage with his wickedly talenteOwen d brother. Owen is currently a senior musical theatre major at Ball State University where he has performed as an Angel in Kinky Boots and as Herr Schultz in Cabaret. Owen would like to thank his family and friends for their constant support and for their laughter. Beth Fine (Courtesan) is so excited that you’re here tonight! Some of her recent credits include The Distrikt of Lake Michigun (Ensemble, u/s Minnie), Indecent (Chana), 12 Angry Jurors (Juror #11), and Head Over Heels (Philoclea). When not doing theatre, Beth loves to crochet, read, and hang out with her cat. Abby Glaws (she/her) (Choreographer / Courtesan) is excited for her fourth production with the Skokie Theatre as Choreographer for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum! She graduated from Butler University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Theatre. Since then, she has been working in theatres and schools across Chicago and the neighboring suburbs. Past credits with Skokie Theatre include Grease, South Pacific (stage manager) and Romeo and Bernadette (choreographer). Abby is endlessly grateful for her experience at the Skokie Theatre, and for everyone she’s met here.
Katie Kotila (Courtesan) is a Chicago based actor. She was last seen as “Ensemble” in Carousel (Music Theatre Works). Other credits include The Producers, Pippin (MTW) Call Me Madam (Porchlight Revisits) , The Little Mermaid (Round Barn Theatre) and White Christmas (Classic Theatre of Maryland). Katie is a graduate of the Chicago College of Performing Arts, receiving her BFA in musical theatre with an emphasis in dance. Katie would like to thank her wonderful parents and friends for their love and support.
Daniel Leahy (Marcus Lycus) is ecstatic to be a part of this timeless musical comedy! A proud 2017 BFA graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Daniel has also studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Emily Lewis (Philia) is delighted to perform in her first MadKap show. Previous credits include: Cinderella…Really?!, The Fantasticks, Annie (Citadel Theater), Urinetown, Heathers, The Farnsworth Invention (Surging Films & Theatrics), Peter Pan, Charlotte’s Web (AlphaBet Soup Productions). She has a BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Florida, is an early childhood educator, and enjoys guitar and tumbling.
Tyler Lord (Hero) is excited to return to the Skokie Theatre for his third production, having recently performed as Romeo in Romeo and Bernadette and Commander Harbison in South Pacific, where he also understudied the roles of Emile and Cable. Originally from Cleveland, Tyler has performed in a variety of regional theaters across the country, including Philadelphia, Missouri, and New York. By day, he works as the Marketing and Data Manager at Writers Theatre and is a proud graduate of Temple University. Endless gratitude to the family and friends who keep me grounded and inspired.
Max Perkel (Miles Gloriosis) is thrilled to return to Skokie Theater for his 3rd production through Madkap alongside such a fun, and talented cast. He has a BFA in Music Theater from The University of Central Oklahoma. In his spare time he enjoys karaoke, working on his fitness, and playing guitar. Someday he aspires to continue his long time goal of becoming a music therapist. He'd like to thank his cats for putting up with his work and rehearsal schedules.
Ed Rutherford (Pseudolus) is overjoyed to get a chance to play with fellow artists in such a fun golden age musical! Acting credits: Promises Promises (Blank Theater), as well as work with Drury Lane Oakbrook, Porchlight, Theater Wit, and many others. He is also Producing Artistic Director of Black Button Eyes Productions, where projects have included Shockheaded Peter, Ghost Quartet, and Evil Dead the Musical. Mitchell Shaw (Protean) is a Chicago-based actor, producer, and comedian. Most recently, Shaw was the co-producer of Goodman Theatre's TVY performance of Lizard y el Sol. Shaw's other credits, across the Midwest, include Fredrick Frankenstein in Young Frankenstein (PB Playhouse), Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun (Northern Light Opera Company), Mortimer Mortimer in Faliure: A Love Story (Viterbo Theatre), and Lord Farquaad in Shrek: The Musical (Bemidji Theatre). You can also catch Shaw writing and performing Stand-up in many seedy bars and clubs across the Chicagoland. Shaw would like to thank his parents, Rose and Brian, for holding out hope as he pursues his dream.
Gayle Starr (Eroneous) holds a BS in performance studies from Northwestern University, an MFA in theater for youth from UT Austin And an MSW from UIC Jane Adam’s School of social work. She currently works as a licensed clinical social worker for CPS by day and teaches and directs youth and family theater for Devonshire Play house by night. Favorite roles include : Sarah ( Company Devonshire Play House), Richmond, (Richard III EFCT), Big Edie (US) Big Noise theater. She would like to thank her husband Evans and Daughters Dora and Joanna for their love and support.
Anna Rose Steinmeyer (Courtesan) is so excited to be making her debut at Skokie Theatre! She has recently graduated from American University with a BA in Theater Performance. Recent credits include Heather Chandler in Heathers (The Home Creative Co.) and Poins in Hamlet (Telluride Theater). She would like to give special thanks to her Mom, Dad and Sister as well as all her friends and boyfriend for always being passionately supportive of her career.
Jubilee Tai (She/Her) (Geminai) grew up training at Northwest Ballet Academy and recently graduated with a BFA in Modern Dance with a Minor in Musical Theatre from Point Park University. During her time in school she danced in works by George Balanchine and Al Blackstone, as well as performed in musicals Cinderella and Grease! (Pittsburgh Musical Theatre). Her recent credits include Within (Visceral Dance Chicago), The Nutcracker (Schaumburg Dance Ensemble), and Pippin (BrightSide Theatre).
Raymond Cam Truong (Geminai) is ecstaticum to be performing in Forum, his first show (and third Sondheim musical in a row) with MadKap Productions! He studied acting at the Acting Studio Chicago and dance (ballet, jazz, and tap) at Ballet Chicago, Joffrey Ballet, Ruth Page Center for the Arts, and Visceral Dance Center. Favorite past roles include Tulsa (Gypsy), Young Ben (Follies), and The Nutcracker Prince (The Nutcracker). After Forum, he will be performing in his first play The Two Noble Kinsmen (Shakespeare/Fletcher) with Forest Theatre Company. With love to his dear John.
